Oct 07, 2017 · I just bought a Power Mac G5 and it came with no OS. I just installed a new 500 GIG hard drive and tried installing Snow Leopard. However the OS would not load. I did a little more research and found that only Intel base Mac can support OS X (Snow Leopard). So back to my original question what OS can I get for my PowerMac G5?

May 30, 2018 · I've got a Power Mac G5 running Mac OS X 10.4.11 and I'd like to get Mac OS Classic support installed so I can run some of my older Mac OS 9 games on it. I scoured the Internet for help but I can't find anything that helped me. Can someone help me out?
