Jun 24, 2019 · The Genesis 3 Poser Updater converted Genesis 8 with out errors. I still want to run some more tests to make sure everything works. It looks like Genesis 8 is a minor update of Genesis 3 and that is why the Updater worked. I'll post more soon.

NOW UPDATED FOR GENESIS 8. You now have the ability to use the Genesis 3 Figures in Poser! This handy little tool is FREE to use and provides the ability to take Genesis 3 into Poser. Please see the support forum here for Mac issues/compatibility and other questions. There IS a solution for Mac users and many of the questions we see posted here.

Genesis can be imported into Poser with the (currently free) DSON Importer for Poser. Genesis characters (or major shapes) are classified as Generation 5. Each DAZ Studio user receives this figure with his or her order of the programme; there is a separate installer for it called Genesis Starter Essentials.

I still use the original Genesis sometimes and I don´t feel like it´s starting over again, almost everything except HD morphs is back and forward compatible. If I like something, I get it regardless of the generation it is for. I bet I will still be using Genesis 1 content on Genesis 9.

Remember, if you bring in Genesis 3 to Poser you will still have to use willdial's free plugin to fix her face so she can have her expressions working. Cheerio lululee

Jun 24, 2015 · In other words, barring some miracle addition to the upcoming Poser Pro 2016, Genesis 3 models are not compatible with Poser. That will be a further disincentive for third party vendors to support Genesis 3 as most of the community simply cannot use it at all.

@ibr_remote said in Genesis 8 in Poser Pro 11 - done: This is the 28,000KB file size clothed Genesis 8 Male exported from DS as FBX and imported into Poser Pro 11. The textures are in a subfolder, which Poser had no trouble finding. File size is just the geometries alone. Very light. Renders very fast.

First they say Genesis will be compatible with poser, fantastic i think as everyone knows genesis will be the only model people will actually use now its here.....Then daz says they will only have genitals if you buy the super expensive bundle,ok, its a rip off but ok i will bite the hefty bullet and get the expensive bundle....THEN i find out although genesis can be used in poser THE GENITALS CANT!

Jun 18, 2017 · G8F doesn't work in Poser, so it's all for DS. However, DS doesn't have any tools for morph creation or even editing, so I do all the work in Poser with the Morphing Tool and magnets. Have been doing so since Genesis 1, 2, and 3 for private commissions, and I already got work to do with Genesis 8 and Victoria 8.
