Sep 20, 2012 · I'd love to see support for head tracking in Planetside 2 and I wanted to share and hear some thoughts about it. This will be a long one, there's a TL;DR at the end, but I'd appreciate it if you read all the way through.. Please mind I'm not a game developer and I've never worked with head tracking technology, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

They've come an awful long way since I last used them for IL-2. It was amazing in DayZ and bloody useful in Planetside 2 as well. If Standalone has support I'm definitely picking one up (once I work out whether I can use my monitor webcam with Freetrack anyway)

As to my point, I will stand by my opinion that some form of a simple On/Off option in-game, as with practically every other TrackIR/other facetracking supported title out there (Arma series, Flight Simulator X, Eurotruck Simulator 2, OMSI 2, Planetside 2, Elite Dangerous etc) , would alleviate this problem.
