Oct 28, 2010 · Hi there, Sorry but I cannot find any related thread on this forum so I post this one. My Slackware installed PHP's PCRE seems not compiled with utf-8 support as I run some framework test (therefore it fails the framework test #kohana).

Nov 15, 2006 · Just beacuse pcretest -C said UTF-8 support was compiled in didn't necessarily mean that Apache was looking at the same library (per se). Good luck to any of the rest of you still struggling to get a UTF-8-enabled PCRE library to get picked up by apache/libphp - it really shouldn't be this hard!
