Jun 29, 2007 · Pefect.. So basicly in order to run published applications in dual monitor (ie. supported features of RDP6) i would be forced to install Vista or W2K8 server both of which are resource hogs and would require super powerfull hardware to support the same amount of thin-clients i can with XP or w2k :S - a joke really - and not really worht the expense - i could prob bu all new desktops :S

I bought Parallels from the Macupdate promo, but am disappointed to find it doesn't support dual monitors from within the guest OS (as VMWare Fusion does under the XP control panel settings). A shame, as in many ways I really prefer Parallels, but will find the lack of dual-monitor support will be a HUGE show-stopper for me.

Feb 20, 2007 · Turn the cube, start parallels and bring up linux guest which would span both monitors. In either the mac or linux "desktops" I could open several programs, drag windows where I want on either monitor. Shift back and forth between the two OSs, turning the cube to access what I need.

Aug 16, 2006 · I too purchase Parallels assuming that it would support dual monitors for WinXP the way XP natively supports it. It is a great benefit with all Adobe software and hundreds of others, where you can have a work space monitor, and a tools monitor. Any word on if and/or when this may be added? Nov 14, 2006 · I also wish I had checked for dual monitor support before paying $50 for Parallels. This was the number one feature I was looking for when I bought Parallels, because I really need to run Mac applications at the same time as MediaShout on a guest Windows OS.
