Reminders for meetings, tasks, and follow-up items do not display in Outlook. Cause This problem can occur if you have the option to display reminders is turned off either in the Outlook user interface or through a Group Policy setting.

Apr 13, 2016 · Reminders support for folders in archives and additional pst-files I’m storing a couple of my Outlook folders outside of my default mailbox (inside a separate pst-file). When I flag messages in this folder and add a reminder I get the following error;

Aug 31, 2016 · We've read the previous (dates back to 2013) issue, where .PST-files had to be explicitly set to 'show' reminders (Outlook 2013), but not only does Outlook 2016 not offer this option anymore (not in the app, nor in the settings in the Control Panel), it also doesn't seem related.

Beginning with Outlook 2007, Outlook supports reminders in any folder and across additional .pst files while Outlook 2003 and older support reminders only in the default folders within the default mailbox or data file (unless you use an add-in).

Feb 14, 2014 · If you use Outlook 2010 and the shared folder is in a shared mailbox (not a public folder) reminders will fire IF you add the mailbox to the profile as a second exchange mailbox (a new feature in Outlook 2010). Otherwise, not possible.
If your Microsoft Outlook reminders aren't working. If you have set reminders in Microsoft Outlook and they are not working, one of these may apply: You have not opened Outlook. Outlook must be running for reminders to display. You do not have your Calendar or Task reminders in your primary folder (i.e., the folder where you receive messages).
