Nov 25, 2014 · Any service contracts I have done always include a small amount of included hours per month that are generally at a reduced rate. This works out well for them if they don't have issues that often - because they are covered if they need support, and works out well for you especially if you don't get calls for that month because you still get paid.

Feb 28, 2012 · Re: Out of hours IT support pay We do 123 hours of Oncall a week (basically outside of 8am - 5pm weekdays and all weekends) and get £3.50 an hour so £430.50 for a weeks oncall. If I get called out Monday to Friday 8am -8pm I get at least 2 hours @ 1.5x hourly rate.

Back then, I received £50 per day flat fee for being an call, £100 for my first call out and then double my normal hourly rate for every hour worked after the first.
