Universal Disk Format (UDF) is a profile of the specification known as ISO/IEC 13346 and ECMA-167 [4] and is an open vendor-neutral file system for computer data storage for a broad range of media. Although rarely used on hard drives, it is the basis for DVD’s and Blu-Ray disks, and has at least some level of support in each reasonably recent operating system.

Apr 08, 2009 · As the other poster suggested it might be available from the Terminal. However, UDF mounting is not Universal on Mac OS X itself. There are some UDF formats still not supported, hence the reason for Software Architect's additional support. So depending on your UDF format requirements you may need Software Architect's additional support.
