Apr 28, 2011 · We have no desire to spend a fortune upgrading our computers to Office 2011 if there are other adequate alternatives. "Adequate", for us however, means that macro support is something that we cannot live without. I have iWork 09 but I cannot find where Pages has macro support similar to what is available in MS Word.

Jan 07, 2009 · Office:Mac 2004 does have macros support (Office 2008 doesn't; the next version of Office will bring it back). However, Office 2004 doesn't allow you to record macros. One option would be to create an AppleScript instead of using VBA macros. This is a good solution if you're only working on a Mac, but won't help if you're going cross-platform.
