Under Quick Controls, uncheck Norton Tamper Protection. In the Security Request window, from the select the duration drop-down menu, select Until system restart, and then click OK.

Jun 22, 2013 · I update the AV at least once a week, with one or two full scans per week. Security is Norton 360, without a lot of customization. I have caught ransomware twice in the last two years, and a couple of minor things, but for the most part all Norton finds is tracking cookies. I've run power eraser twice, and it found nothing.
