May 22, 2010 · It probably goes by what it says in the system information, which is usually off by 1 or so, making it not a power of 2. Anyways, get the patch like adrichardson and MattTS said and that should fix it.

One common use of non-power-of-two textures is for 'screen-sized' or 'half-screen-sized' (and so on) render target textures used for postprocessing effects. In these cases, mipmaps aren't needed, the buffer is always uncompressed, so odd texture sizes cause less problems here

Oct 17, 2012 · “Limited” support for non-power-of-two sizes. No mipmaps, texture wrap mode has to be Clamp, but does allow texture filtering. This makes such textures not generally useful in 3D space, but just good enough for anything in screen space (UI, 2D, postprocessing). No support, texture sizes have to be powers of two (16,32,64,128,…).
