May 12, 2016 · Non ECC is just fine in consumer products - AKA your core I processors and amd equivalent. I believe that some xeons these days do support non-ecc ram although is not recommended for anything serious in business. Yes Server memory is more stable and is built to be on 24/7/365 so is more reliable.4.8/5(14)
