Apr 10, 2017 · Then go to the Device Manager and click on view, and select Show Hidden Devices. First disconnect the USB cord for the printer from the computer, then expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers field and find any USB Printing Support entries that are greyed out. If this is the only printer, this should be easy.

Oct 26, 2018 · No it didn't help. I have removed the device and reinstalled it a bunch with no luck. It pops up as an unspecified device in Devices and Printers and still has the USB Printing Support driver problem. I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't know why sometimes turning the engraver on and off a bunch until it works, actually works.

Aug 06, 2010 · Both instances of USB Printing Support have yellow !'s. Now my printer doesn't work. After spending time on the phone with Canon (printer manufacturer) tech support, they say their software and drivers are installed and that something's wrong with plug 'n' play or usb hardware on the machine. I'm ready to be done with this problem!!!
