    I definitely prefer NetBeans and I would love to see full perl support in NetBeans. Currently I develop Perl/Mason web stuff. It would be great to have some mixed syntax support - like syntax highlighting in Mason-modules (mixed up w/ HTML!). Sad to know GLF will be discontinued.

Perhaps at some point Oracle will decide to fund an effort to create product-quality Perl support, but currently no such decision is announced that I know of.
