Dec 10, 2010 · While looking for the solution some people were having luck with just deleting the "iPhone Simulator" folder from their Application Support and re-launching iPhone Simulator.app but that didn't work for me. It did however work for one of the other Macs in the office so that might be worth a try first if you're having the same problem.

Jun 13, 2010 · The app is named iPhone Simulator.app. Why Apple buried the iPhone Simulator app that deep into a directory, I don’t really know. If you can’t find the iPhone Simulator you may have a different version of the iPhone SDK, or you might only have Xcode installed without the iPhone SDK.
