Nov 14, 2012 · I have never seen a motherboard that can't run Linux. Linux distros, or kernel versions however, can be a tricky thing. A couple years ago, my Dad's laptop ran great with Linux Mint. Then I just tried it a month ago and had sound problems among other things. Switched to Calculate Linux and it ran good except it wouldn't wake from suspend properly.
