Aug 21, 2015 · Meteor is yet to release the official support to SQL, so we are playing only with alpha implementations at this point. That means that some of the core packages, like the accounts, don't work 100% with SQL yet.

SQL Support has >1000 votes, more than any other task on the roadmap, but they're still focusing a lot on Galaxy, probably because investors are pushing them. I'd be totally cool with it, if there would be a fitting 3rd party library to integrate Postgres into Meteor, but there isn't.
