It's unfortunate: Mapyx had mobile use long before Viewranger, but only on Windows Mobile 5, which is dead and gone. They never bothered to port to iOS or Android As MaxMarengo says, support and updates for Mapyx is now close to nonexistent, but at least the software is pretty robust.
