Lync Server 2013 supports both SQL mirroring and SQL clustering topologies for all deployments, including greenfield deployments and organizations that have upgraded from previous versions of Lync Server. Jul 28, 2015 · Lync Server 2013 supports both SQL mirroring and SQL clustering topologies for all deployments. I haven’t seen this scenario before, I did some research and discussed with my colleague who is familiar with SQL. From SQL perspective, he thought it would work. Jul 03, 2013 · So I read that Lync 2013 doesn't support a SQL cluster for a new installation but it appears it supports it if you are migrating from 2010. What i'm curious about is it looks like Microsoft is doing away with database mirroring after SQL 2012.
