May 26, 2008 · Logic is using a 32 Bit floating point audio engine, this is a different beast. If you are using Logic with TDM: Now Logic is using the DAE too, with the same resolution as ProTools. This is very quick and dirty information, you should investigate more by yourself into the differences between native and TDM (DAE) based audio and mixing engines.
