Sep 30, 2011 · USB 3.0 support Hi there, I am running 11.10 on a ThinkPad X220i, I am not sure if the notebook supports USB 3.0 I couldn't find the detail on Windows, since my USB 3.0 hard disk is backward compatible so it runs well on Ubuntu, but how do I tell if it running at 3.0 or 2.0, I can't find the detail on the system info.

I've recently built my first PC and got it all working (yay!) except for the USB 3.0 ports. I don't think any of the USB 3.0 ones are working, there are some in the MB/back and also a couple at the front, I did plug in the USB 3.0 wire from the case to the mb, and made sure the USB 3.0 option is enabled in BIOS.

Jun 17, 2017 · Hello all, I am new to linux and am currently dualbooting with mint and windows 10. Below is my hardware specs. The problem I am having is my USB3.0 ports are not working in mint, they work just fine in windows though.
