Jan 28, 2007 · assuming its a dynamic mic (wich doesnt need phantom power - wich is good as the UX1 doesnt have phantom power) you need to go to the menu in the top left corner of gearboax and choose "MIC" or "Instrument and MIC" for sound to be routed from the XLR input. Also you need to make sure the mic gain knob isnt at zero on the toneport.

Nov 28, 2007 · I have a UX1 which is a great sound card as well as input device. I have it set as my default sound card so all the mp3s, Windows sounds etc. all use it. In Reaper - you select "asio" as the driver type - then choose Toneport Asio - and you get high quality, low latency recordings.
