Jul 31, 2010 · I have an LG Cosmos through Verizon. I can't seem to get Bitpim to transfer ringers and sounds. Someone in another thread said they changed the setting to the VX5500 to get ringers to work. I tried this, and it showed them in bitpim, but they never show up in the phone. Anyone have any advice on what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

I've used BitPim for several years with an LG6100; LG Chocolate; and with the LG Cosmos a few years back with great success - till now. The Chocolate is 'fading its front touch pads' and I need this backup phone... so here's what happened. I have Cosmos setting at LG 8560 which works on Version 1.0.6. but not on Version 1.0.7. 1.0.6.
