    LCDproc does not support temperature monitoring, fan control, or watchdog features like those found on some CrystalFontz displays and there is no driver API or client command to make use of these. We only support the display, a keypad or extra LEDs. There are no plans to change this, either. -

    That looks like a pretty cool LCD. the software which i wrote the driver was for lcdproc because i had scene that name used else where on this site. It appears to already have support in lcdproc based on the website/link provided. LCDProc with keypad support: Available in latest CVS from lcdproc homepage or here.

My together project Arduino + HD44780 with I2C (PCF8574N) and lcdproc/lcdsmartie software does not work! :-(The I2C LCD example is work with the new liquid driver and good configuration in lcdproc (I think). Generates the following: Led blinking, and LCD works but nothing words and graphics.
