Jul 09, 2011 · I have a duly validated licensed Widows XP SP 3 installed on my PC. I have the product key but do not have the Windows XP CD with me. Now when I try to install "Supplemental Language Support" from the "Regional & Language Option" icon in the Control Panel, it is asking for Windows XP CD (Which I don't have).

to do this you go to regional settings in control panel, click languages tab, tick the box "install east asian languages" then it installs it from the xp cd then you just add what language you want, in this case japanese, and then you can switch from english and japanese, and write in both characters.
