Buy a good firewall, start off by just putting your primary WAN IP(s) interfaces on this and run the rest through the 4500x, then migrate chunks of the network to private addressing on the 4500x as you can.

    Cisco specific .. As the title says, why is nat not supported in layer3 switches yet? This capability is available in 20 dollar consumer routers. It is not complicated, it is not cpu taxing.
