May 20, 2018 · I have to say that even with this, with the "PlayStation controller support" activate, sometimes games doesn't detect the DS4 and it interprets your controller like a XOne gamepad, even the games with full support to DS4. In that case, we need to deactivate the "PlayStation controller Suport" option. If anyone know more about this, please tell us.

Sep 29, 2017 · The kernel source version would be "3.10.40". So the suffix is the remainder...set CONFIG_LOCALVERSION to "-ga7da876" (don't forget the hyphen). Then when this kernel boots verify that "uname -r" still matches "3.10.40-ga7da876" (if you had a different kernel source version the prefix would then break even though the suffix would match).

Dec 14, 2015 · Yeah, problem was on my side after all, sorry. First of all, I've been missing User level driver support from the kernel, which might have caused it. Secondly, Steam from overlay comes with it's own rules, which I was unaware of:

Now im nowhere near a heavy Linux user but you may be missing files for Xinput to have it work under Linux. Probably due to not wanting to be under legal issues, the Steam Controller's software follows the feature sets of Xinput. it doesnt have its own input systems that run under Xinput.
