Question: Q: AVRCP Bluetooth Profile in iPod Touch 3rd Gen. I thought that if a device offered AVRCP Bluetooth profile support, all functions of the perepheral device would be supported. Although the new iPod supposedly offers AVRCP, apparently only some functions work on some devices. Others, like forward/reverse won't.

May 06, 2010 · If you have a jailbroken iphone with cydia then you can download music control 1.2, it gives you FULL AVRCP support! Works perfect with pandora, regular ipod, xbmc streamer, and just about every music app. It also allows music apps like pandora to run in the backround. I finally get to use my track select buttons!
