Feb 09, 2012 · Once you turn on the BT, you should go to Network in System Preference and add Interface "Bluetooth PAN" service. Wait a while and it will show you the IP address of the PAN. And then you go to Sharing and check the Internet Sharing and select Share your connection from Ethernet and To computers using Bluetooth PAN.

I have a device with which I share my connection from iOS device though Bluetooth (Bluetooth PAN). I wonder is it possible to access to create a server on iPhone in PAN network and access it from device or create a server on device and access it from iPhone.

Has anyone done PAN over bluetooth using iPhone, where the other alien non-ios based ip device with no I/O whatsoever. The idea is to establish a PAN connection between iPhone and the alien device without having access to the alien device by any other means.
