Experience API (formally called Tin Can) is the new version of SCORM - the commercial Rustici SCORM plugin for Moodle supports Tin Can but it would be nice to support it natively in Moodle. This will be a new Moodle plugin - it will not re-use/sit on top of the existing SCORM plugin.

I'm sorry if I've asked you this else where, but there seem to be a multitude of Tin Can plugins on Moodle, and for me this complicates things. I'm now running a Moodle 3.3 platform and was wondering, will the 3.2 version of your plugin work on 3.3? If not, do you have any idea when a 3.3 version will be ready? Many thanks, and take care.

Sep 10, 2013 · Hello, please imagine that a company that wants to train employees using only SCORM packages. Please don't elaborate on how poor eLearning it is, I know. So if this company chooses Moodle 2.5+, it would only be used as a SCORM 1.2 launcher, right ?. Since it's time to jump on with Tin Can API, why would it need an LMS ?
