Jul 03, 2010 · Yes they do have international warranty.Once the laptop is here call Dell care and do a service tag transfer from US to India. HP i doubt they have it,there was thread some where here saying HP is declining warranty for Laptops brought outside India.Acer ,Sony,Toshiba have it .

Nov 07, 2010 · Dell - International Laptop Warranty Contact Information I've read through the U.S. basic warranty agreement and see no mention of International service, so if it's not there they're not obligated to service a laptop internationally. That said, a specific country may do it anyway depending on the service depot.
