You cannot take your five-year-old computer and slot the newest Intel CPU into the motherboard. The most limiting factor to this is the socket. I meant to say: "I did not verify every last one, but I checked most of them on Ark and it appears that from Sandy Bridge through today, desktop processors without on-chip graphics do not support vPro and therefore AMT. Does vPro on desktop processors require Intel graphics or is this merely an amusing coincidence?"
