Local Support For Host Families At the heart of CIEE’s personalized approach is your Local Coordinator. LCs are our facilitators and primary support contacts for host families, students, schools, and the community. You’ll also have the support of a knowledgeable Regional Supervisor who partners closely with your Local Coordinator. Host Family Services In the Host Family program, adults with exceptional needs live with a host family in a regular home environment. This support model is very similar to foster care, where you have access to daily individualized support and receive accommodations, meals and personal care, emotional support, similar to any other family member.

Host Families provide valuable support and respite to a person with a disability on a regular basis.
