Some laptops for example have a dual setup; an integrated one for normal tasks and a dedicated one for 3D. Sometimes the wrong one will get used and cause it to fail.

Aug 24, 2017 · Well, you could try setting Guild Wars 2 to “Prefer maximum performance” in the Nvidia control panel. Maybe the card isn’t coming out of low power mode when running GW2. Also, I see no indication that the card is going bad.
