It says on the box "Jumbo Frame Support (9,000)" ... GS105 Jumbo Frames On or Off I have a GS105 and it definitely does not pass Jumbo frames. I plug in two jumbo-frame capable devices and turn the power on. 'ping -s 1000 addr' works and both activity lights flash. 'ping -s 2000 addr' doesn't work and only the incoming activity light flashes.

With this chipset, jumbo frame support can be programmed to be on or off. But it's a factory-programmed option - probably via the Atmel 93C46 EEPROM shown in Figure 1 located between the other two chips. So this means that existing GS108's can't be field-upgraded.. Since the GS108 is a plain ol' unmanaged switch, there's nothing you need (or can) do to it to use jumbo frames.
