Jul 21, 2016 · Hi. I am a Xiaomi Mi 4 user in India. I have faced the very same GPS issue in my device. I have tried all methods, like downloading a gps.conf for my country, rooting my device in order to replace the original gps.conf file with the new one etc. Even after this, GPS still can't lock my position. I have attached the gps.conf file that I'm using.

Oct 08, 2019 · Consider using the GPS Locker app because it is much better than the GPS Test and GPS Data. You just need to open it once and wait for fix, then your gps signal is locked and when you close it (just press Cancel in "Unlock GPS on exit" message) the app keep awake running in the background. GPS is made to work in outdoor places.
