For future support of your environment, you probably would want to consult IBM in the design stage of your clusters. In real terms, the setup of a GPFS cluster, from the beginning to end, once the LUNs are presented to all nodes in the cluster, takes less than an hour. It comes down to two config files and couple of commands.

Fix a memory leak in the GPFS daemon associated with Events Exporter, mmpmon, and SNMP support. In GPFS systems employing GPFS Native RAID, there was a situation in which failover and failback, and disk replacement operations could hang, requiring GPFS to be restarted on the node to clear the hang. Fix is extremely low risk and highly recommended.
