Jan 23, 2013 · Touchpad Gesture Support going from Windows 7 to Windows 8. I have an Acer Aspire 4830T with Windows 7 Ultimate on it. I am considering upgrading to Windows 8 while it is still cheap. While I know Windows 8 runs smoothly on new laptops with touchpads that support gestures, I am concerned that without the gestures it would get exhausting.
