Dec 01, 2017 · I set up FTP server and configured FTP Firewall Support > Data Channel Port Range values. I need to change them but the Data Channel Port Range field is greyed out, with the current values displayed in the grey area.

Feb 22, 2013 · I just installed the new 7.g ftp services and I have been struggling with firewall rules, as I need to configure an external firewall to allow the data ports, however, the Data Channel Port Range box is grayed out, so I cannot configure what ports is should use, and I have no idea what ports may be configured by default.

So, I am trying to setup a secure FTP Server for clients to access remotely. Everything works perfectly except for the fact that, in the FTP Firewall Support section of my FTP Site, I can not edit the Data Channel Port Range. That field remains grayed out even after I have specified an external IP address and applied the settings.
