Limited support for SCSI hard drives; FREESCO v0.3.x can be installed on any FAT 16/32 IDE drive on the primary or secondary controller and the primary or secondary drive; There is an official ext2 package, built into the advanced package menu, for formatting and installing FREESCO from the floppy to create an ext2 installation on a hard drive.

I have used Freesco-027 successfully as router on our office LAN for over a year. When Freesco-030 came along, I quickly upgraded with ease. It was smooth and I am pretty happy. Recently I decided to add a second Freesco box as a bridge between the 100-baseTX and 10-baseT subnets. Here are my problems: 1. On the main setup menu, I can't choose the option b) for ethernet bridge.

Dec 31, 2006 · My freesco box is a 100Mhz AMD 586 with 32MB EDO RAM. Currently running of an old 300MB hard disk. Uptime is only 180 or so days as the PSU fan died on 6/6/6. At that point it had an uninterrupted uptime of 400days. This may give me an excuse to update my box to v3.6.
