May 06, 2010 · Yes you do get free eye tests. I had one when I was on income support. You have to pay for the frames bu you get the lenses free. You can get free glasses which are a bit like the Deidre ones from coronation st. I got the cheapest frames which were £20. Phone the Job centre and see if you can get help with paying for the frames.:)
