plus would it not say on the right or what ever if a controller and what not is supported? This is true, but the thing is it seemed so obvious that a game in which you fly spaceships would have support for a joystick that I didn't think to check that list to see if controller support was mentioned.

Nov 21, 2018 · BF1 didn't need joystick. The planes were great to fly with keyboard and mouse (or controller). If they have a similar system with the planes in BF5 then I imagine that they perhaps won't bother with joystick support. It can't be that hard to do though, so you'd think they would *shrug*

Nov 27, 2017 · Controller support is coming, but still in the infant stages. First you have to get the controller set up correctly on the PC. I know I had some troubles with this initially using my PS4 controllers. Once that's done, you can set it up in the game.

I was able to get the flying to work by using the AntiMicro (free) software which maps your keyboard to your controller and it works fine. I only needed to map my right trigger to 'S' and now i can use that to accelerate with my xbox one controller.3.9/5(15)
