I cannot seem to disable the EXIF support which is enabled by default when doing a traditional LAMP stack install. I cannot come up with anything better than to comment out EXIF in the php.ini file.;[exif] ; Exif UNICODE user comments are handled as UCS-2BE/UCS-2LE and JIS as JIS.

Sep 28, 2005 · Just below the checkbox for "PHP Module (version 4.3.3)" are all the PHP options. There is simply a checkbox named "Exif". If this is checked PHP will be compiled with Exif support. If you don't have this option, the version of WHM/Cpanel you have may not be up-to-date enough.
