Mar 23, 2015 · From what information I can gather, the RAID-card "3ware 9650SE" is not supported in ESXi 6. Does anyone know if this is correct? Does anyone know if it will be supported or if this card is obsolete for ESXi 6?

New to VSphere - Have been using workstation for 3 years. I noticed no comparability for my LSI/3Ware 9650SE-8LPML in version 6.0 Question - Has any attempted to install ESXi 6.0 with a 3ware card? Am I stuck with using workstation or relegated to using ESXi 5.1 only? Not budgeted for buying new 12 and 24 channel RAID cards

Aug 18, 2016 · How time flies! It only seems like yesterday that VMware was announcing ESXi 5, though this was back in 2011 – 5 years ago! There have been lots of great ESXi releases and updates since that time which has seen the entire vSphere portfolio mature and maintain its place as the industries leading virtualization solution.
