Mar 21, 2011 · Some of the drives (Intel X25-E) don't support TRIM at all, and the newer ones (OWC) support TRIM at the drive level but haven't ever used it since OS X doesn't currently support it. I assume that OS X will eventually support TRIM (judging from articles I've read) and compatible drives will use it.

Mar 04, 2011 · Both are "up to date" but they're running different builds. Apparently the 10J3210 has something that can recognize the Apple SSD's and enable trim support. It would be really lame if Trim support (whether it be in SL or Lion) was only limited to Apple SSD's. If they incorporated it into the OS, why not enable it for EVERYONE who has a SSD.
