DNG files created by DxO OpticsPro are not equivalent to the original RAW files, and for this reason, you should not consider OpticsPro as a DNG converter. It only makes sense to produce DNG files with OpticsPro if you wish to use these files in another program other than DxO OpticsPro.

Apr 29, 2014 · DxO has launched an upgrade of its Optics Pro Raw conversion software. Version 9.1.5 now offers support for the Nokia Lumia 1020 's DNG Raw files. Jun 26, 2019 · I installed the trial version of Optics Pro 9.5.1, and was surprised to notice that I couldn't load any of my collection of some 20K DNG files. I opened a case with their support desk, and got the flat answer that Optics Pro doesn't work with DNG files, period.

Jan 01, 2016 · It appear's DxO's "support" for DNG is simply as an output format and not a good variant at that, but they can't do anything but process the data and save it out as a non raw file. Nothing stops them from opening a DNG.
