May 11, 2008 · It means that your Video Card does not support/is not able to perform the tasks that World of Warcraft is asking it to do. Your card is not capable of performing 3-D tasks, and that's what WoW needs to run. In short: They will not work together.

Jul 01, 2019 · I thought Metal (GPU doesn’t support that either) or hopefully OpenGL or similar. EDIT: I vaguely remember playing retail Legion 7.3.5 natively on that machine (not a great experience), but it ran. I think I got a warning on game startup that OpenCL would soon be discontinued for use in WoW and that Metal was a requirement for newer patches.
