Re: 8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+RW/+R) with double-layer write capability The NEC ND-6100A that Dell is offering does have 2.4x DVD+R double-layer write capability. NEC also recently announced the ND-6500A (Available July 2004) which adds DVD-R/RW write capability.
