SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2012 doesn't support migrating or running DTS packages. You do have the following options for migrating your DTS packages to SSIS 2012. Migrate the packages to SSIS 2005 or SSIS 2008, and then upgrade the packages to SSIS 2012.

Jan 11, 2012 · So, you may want to first migrate the dts package to SQL server 2008 R2 and then probably to SQL server 2012. Even when I see the legacy folder in SQL server management studio for SQL 2012, I don't see DTS folder there but it used be there in 2008/2008 R2 .
