Dec 15, 2011 · It's a bare pole. I just want to tidy it up at the top, where it goes through the drywall ceiling, and around the bottom, where the floor has been laid around it. I'd love to pad it too if anyone has any ideas. To keep the kids safe. I know quite a few heads are going to bounce off of it. Maybe a pad like bicycles have, only bigger.
